JW Desktop Player 1
The JW Desktop Player is a small and simple player you can use to play FLV, MP3 and MP4 files on your MAC or PC. It looks like the one above here. To play a video, simply drop it on top of the display. Because the player uses the Adobe AIR framework, it is a very small download and lightweight application. Installation is free and easy: just click the badge below here to install!
Source code
If interested, you can download the full source code of this player. The desktopplayer completely builds upon the mediaplayer, so you'll see that little additional code is needed. It also means that all features of the mediaplayer (including the skinning) are part of the desktopplayer.
To get started, I've provided a PDF with clear overview of the player application structure. All source code can also be checked out from the Wiki.
